X-BAND UPCONVERTER

X-BAND UPCONVERTERRODELCO ELECTRONICS has developed a customized X-Band Upconverter for a military airborne requirement. This Upconverter includes three frequency conversions from Baseband to X-Band and incorporates switched filters in the RF and IF circuits to achieve the required spurious level. Spurs and LO leakage levels are typically greater than -90 dBc.

X-BAND DUAL CONVERSION RECEIVERRODELCO ELECTRONICS has developed a custom X-Band Dual Conversion for a military airborne requirement. This Receiver includes an STC attenuator, low noise amplifier, RF bandpass filter, LO filters, ceramic bandpass filters in the first IF and lumped element filters in the second IF. Conversion gain is greater than 70 dB and all spurious signals are suppressed by 90 dB typical.

PHASE CONSTANT ATTENUATORS

Phase Constant AttenuatorsRODELCO ELECTRONICS has developed a line of PIN diode attenuators which offer minimum phase variation with attenuation. These phase constant attenuators are available to cover the frequency range of 2.0 to 6.0 GHz and 6.0 to 18.0 GHz. The attenuators have an 8 bit digital control and offer an attenuation range in excess of 36 dB and a switching speed of less than 1.0 microsecond.

0.5 TO 18.0 GHz AMPLIFIER INTEGRATED MICROWAVE ASSEMBLY

MODEL 3703A 0.5 TO 18.0 GHz AMPLIFIER INTEGRATED MICROWAVE ASSEMBLYModel 3703A offers a unique combination of power, bandwidth and harmonic suppression in a highly integrated microwave assembly. The Model 3703A offers a minimum power output of 5 Watts CW over the frequency range of 0.5 to 18.0 GHz while suppressing harmonics to a level of -60 dBc minimum. The assembly employs a tandem connection of switches, medium power amplifiers, filters and combining switches to achieve the broadband coverage. The implementation shown utilizes mechanical switches to achieve the maximum output power with a band switching speed of 10 milliseconds. The Model 3703B is available with PIN diode switches and 1 microsecond switching speed, but maximum output power is limited to 1 Watt CW. These products were developed to meet flightline military requirements.

MEDIUM POWER AMPLIFIERSRODELCO ELECTRONICS has developed a line of medium power amplifiers yielding 5 watts minimum output power over the frequency range 0.5 to 18.0 GHz. These amplifiers were developed for a custom application in a Flight Line Test Set and are available in bands covering 0.5 to 1.5 GHz, 1.5 to 3.0 GHz, 3.0 to 6.0 GHz and 6.0 to 18.0 GHz.

PIN DIODE SWITCHES AND ATTENUATORS

PIN DIODE SWITCHES AND ATTENUATORSRODELCO ELECTRONICS has developed a line of PIN diode switches and attenuators covering the frequency range 0.5 to 18.0 GHz. Switches are available in the 0.5 to 18.0 GHz with isolation of greater than 60 dB and switching speeds of less than 30 nsec. PIN Diode Attenuators are available in bands covering 2.0 to 4.0 GHz, 4.0 to 8.0 GHz and 8.0 to 18.0 GHz with either Digital or Voltage Control.
